Imelda Who?

If you know me, you know I like order in my life.
So, when my shoe shelves started looking disheveled, I worried.
Suz, stacking shoes?
Do I have TOO Many pairs of shoes?
Do I need to weed them out?

Then I smacked myself silly.
Of course, I don't have too many shoes.

I have too few shelves.
Oh thank goodness....this disorderly conduct is not my fault.

  1. Too many pairs of shoes? Is that even a REAL question?!? :)

  2. A girl can never have too many shoes. I am starting to worry though....I think my oldest son has almost as many shoes as I do. I'm pretty sure that ISN'T right. Momma needs a new pair of shoes!

  3. I don't have too many shoes, but I do have a shoe shelf problem and need to find a good way to get them up and off the closet floor.... One can just never organize too much now can they?

  4. No such thing as too many shoes! :-) You just need to ask hubby to fix the shelving problem for you. ;-)
Missed "seeing" you these last few weeks, now I need to catch up with you and yours...

  5. I totally agree with your conclusion - - - too few shelves!!! I looked at your collection and did not see any that were not needed.

  6. Buy more shelves, definitely!

  7. I don't have room for a shoe shelf so I bought an Ikea Expedit 2x2 shelf...and with 4 baskets, all of my shoes fit...although I do not have as many shoes as you do...and most of mine are Vans and Converse...but my nice shoes fit too...maybe the Ikea 6x5 would hold all of your shoes :)
    Happy Reorganizing :)

  8. I like the way you think!

  9. That's orderly compared to my shoe collection! (Of which I may or may not have over 100 pairs.)

  10. I have four pairs of shoes I wear on a regular basis. Four! I think I have some others but they are stashed away because I don't like them for one reason or another. It's a pain in the butt to be less than a six 6. Do you know how many places carry shoes for people like me??? Approximately nobody. Depressing! : /

  11. Your reasoning is sound; there is no such thing as too many shoes, Imelda (unless you have an odd number of shoes - then you need to lose another one)! I vote for more shelves.
I noticed how many open shoes you have; those are in the minority in our climate. I can't imagine what it would be like to live without socks, with toes exposed, for most of the year - but I'd like to try it! ;)
