Lil’ bits of Joy

Have you ever found that perfect coffee mug…the one that has good weight and height  along with  the perfect hand/thumb ratio in the handle?

These are my perfect coffee mugs. I love them. I almost, almost refuse to use another one if these are dirty.

What overjoyed me recently? Finding them in Christmas colors!!!  Joy. Joy.P1030826

Years ago, I found these sweet poinsettia dessert/salad plates after Christmas, they were super duper cheap. I heart getting them out this time of year.

Today…realizing I made a dinner last night that was worthy on an encore this morning on my sweet poinsettia plate?  Joy. Joy. Joy.P1030829

Who says lightly breaded pork chops, scalloped potatoes and broccoli are not for breakfast? who? No one. That’s who.

I hope I am not the only one finding lil’ bits of joy today.  You have to find it where you can!

OMG! That's a breakfast fit for a king! Or, a queen! Wish I could zap myself there right now!

Those are lovely plates and mugs. I have a "thing" for my coffee cup, too. It's not as pretty as yours, but it's stainless steel, has a wonderful rubber grip in the middle, has a lid (keeps my coffee HOT) and is the perfect size.
So glad that you are enjoying leftovers today; "cook once, eat twice" is so rewarding! It's the little things in life, isn't it? XO

I want the mugs today. Like, within the hour. Okay, fine. I'll wait until after I get home from work.

bits of joy today, my brother is in the hospital, they had to do a cancer screening for one of his many ailments, my bit of joy is he is cancer free for now. with his HIV status just running normal bloodwork like with you or I would not have given them accurate results, they had to be invasive. but i am grateful he is free from cancer for now. i LOVE those plates and cups!!! awesome!!

Hi Suz. Thank you for the little bit of joy you bestowed upon me! I'd been a real jerk for over 24 hours and after reading the comments my friends left me, then reading all your blogs I'm cheered up. So much to be thankful for. THANK YOU!!!! X-c

LOL ... I have a favorite mug, and it's all I will EVER use. If it's dirty I'll wash it before using any others.

Hi Suz, Sometimes left-over dinner even tastes better for breakfast---especially on those pretty Christmas plates....

George and I both have favorite cups---and even though there are lots of mugs in the house, we keep using the same ones over and over.

Hugs,
Betsy

Eating regular food for breakfast always makes me happy! I feel like I am doing some illegal thing and I just relish it : )

I am very particular about my personal coffee cup. I use only one. Our dishwasher runs every night anyway...thank goodness...so it's not a problem.

Love the plates....Nope. LOVE THEM. Would not be able to walk by them in a store.

Dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner in my house. YUPPER!

I know just what you mean about the "perfect" coffee mug. Once you find it, nothing else will do!!!

I'm diggin' those Christmas plates. I would never shop on Black Friday, but Boxing Day may be a different story!!!

Coffee mugs and real silverware make me joyful as all get out this time of year. Those poinsettia plates would make me downright giddy.
