I have a peeping Tom. or Tammy.

When we remodeled our master bath a few months ago, we removed the blinds in the Water closet. (A polite way to say toilet room)

This doesn't bother me, I don’t think a human can see in…unless they are camping out in the woods next door with a fabulous set of binoculars.(or perched under the window waiting for me to enter)

9 times out of 10, this is the sight I see when I enter the water closet. P1020076

Can you see the reptile?

P1020074

Do you see Tom? Or Tammy?

P1020075How about now???

Sometimes there are two of them and I can’t tell you what they are doing. Well, I could, but I don’t want to compete with National Geographic.

He/She is always there…just staring at me…on the pretense that he/she is only here to catch some bugs… yeah, bugs huh?

Me, being the 12 year old that I am, I ALWAYS come to the same exact thought when I see he/she…I always wonder:

How can you tell if A lizard is a boy or a girl?????

P1020082

What do you think? Is this a he or a she??? I suppose I could research it and learn, but then what would I think when I went into the water closet?

I mean, if it looked anything like that Zebra at Busch Gardens Then I would not even have to wonder.

Why does my brain work like this?

Will I still have these zany thoughts when I am 90???

I freak out when a bathroom has no window coverings unless it's a cliff overlooking the ocean.
Lizards! They are harmless, right?

I'm slow catching up on my blogging friends....and I missed it too.

I saw a lizard just yesterday that had such an unusually shaped "undercariage" I thought to myself, "Either that lizard is the Hugh Hefner of the reptile world or SHE is very pregnant."

Then I remembered that they lay eggs.

So see? You aren't the only Floridian contemplating little green things. (Only, I don't do it in my WC. I guess you are just unique like that!)

Yes, you will still have these zany thoughts when you are 90. I just hope I'm around to keep laughing.

I'm gonna say it's a boy....because the girl is out getting a million other tasks done to keep their reptile house running, and the boy is just being lazy, trying to catch a peek of some hot mama in the WC ;)

I don't know, but I wonder the same thing about birds...except that the boys are usually prettier than the girls, so I guess that's one way to tell, with some of them.
As to your thought process when you are 90, I think you will be "more yourself," but with less of a filter. Look at your grandmother...that may give a clue. What fun lies ahead for us in blogland!

OMG...even on the outside, that would be enough to keep me from going to the bathroom...

and... don't worry about having these zany thoughts at 90. you can just go back through your blog and read them and you will think that they are new thoughts ;)

i am NOT going back to see your x rated zebra!

Well they have ginea pigs as undercover agents (gforce.. lol) so maybe the lizards are up next. What information are tehy trying to get from your bathroom?

I hope you are still sharing your thoughts with us when youa re 90!

I sincerely hope that you will have those thoughts when you're 90. I'll even keep you company as you think them.

There's no window covering on the window in my shower--if the boys at Chabad Jewish Academy (a mile away as the crow flies) want to get some binoculars and knock themselves out that's okay by me. They're the ones that will go blind!

I sincerely hope that you have zany thoughts well into your 90s. Only the zany and spicy folks of this earth survive that long anyway. Keep it up!!!

There is something about having a window/door out to the natural world in the *water closet*....I wonder if that is a throwback to our cavewoman days when it was fun to pee in the woods of the great wide open???

I have no idea how to tell if the lizards are female or male....Milo usually gobbles steps on them before I can get a good look. Poor lizards!

That is too funny!

Good for a chuckle! I never thought to wonder about lizard gender, but it might be kind of inconvenient for them climging around if they had the zebra anatomy!
